So I need clarity on something.
Gunner / Luke (crew) and munition failsafe.
Is it still classed as a miss if I Hit twice but they are dodged by dice/tokens?
As I gleam yes its a miss but I would like to be 100% sure.
Thanks in advance

An attack hits if and only if there are [hit] or [crit] results that are not canceled by [evade] results unless an ability on a card says otherwise (ie Lt Blount). So yes, if you roll two [hit] results and your opponent rolls 2 or more [evade] results, the attack will miss.
If the question is "Does the Gunner Attack hitting change the effect of Munitions Failsafe?" the answer is NO.
If you fire your ordnance at a target it at it ends up as a miss that will trigger BOTH Munitions Failsafe and Gunner. The attack made by the Gunner is a completely different things as has no effect of the Failsafe.
If you are running a ship that is equipped with a Cluster Missile, Failsafe, and Gunner and attack with the missile the first missile could trigger Gunner AND Failsafe allowing you to keep the missile as you wouldn't see the second attack.
just to expand ever so slightly - this also includes any remaining hits that are not cancelled by evade rolls but cancelled by evade tokens instead

are you saying that only the first attack with CM would need to miss in order to trigger MF?
I'm pretty sure this was clarified by FFG and MF only triggers if BOTH CM attacks miss
edit:
Sorry - I was being dense - I just figured out what you meant
if your first CM attack misses, you deliberately use Gunner instead of the second CM shot - this triggers MF legally so you still get 2 attacks but you get to keep the missile.

That combo hadn't actually occured to me.
Missile misses ( not discarded because of MF) gunner kicks in primary attack on same or other target. Iay now have to try that on something....

I guess there is nothing to stop gunner from activating if your first CM attack misses - but then you'll lose the second CM attack (Gunner says "You cannot perform another attack this round) - I guess it all depends on whether a primary weapon attack is better than another CM attack.
As for munitions failure, I just checked it - FFG have ruled that BOTH CM attacks have to miss for MF to activate

I'm not a big fan of cluster missiles. I think concussion is a better choice.
Dude! Cluster missiles = 2 attacks. How is that a bad thing?

Because each is only 3 dice and your opponent gets to roll all Defense dice both times. You may get more [hit] and [crit] results rolling 6 dice instead of 4 but remember that your opponent is rolling double his defense dice while you're just rolling 50% more attack dice.
If they evade it, you missed.
But it soaks up tokens.
But it soaks up tokens.
What soaks up tokens? You think a Cluster Missile is so much more effective because it gets to make two attacks with less dice each time because those attacks could draw one time defenses? Should I point out that it also sucks up YOUR tokens as any spent on the first attack no longer apply to the second.
Because each is only 3 dice and your opponent gets to roll all Defense dice both times.
Which is why you use them against low agility ships like the shuttle or the corvette.

That may be but when the question is asked "why are two attacks a bad thing?" the answer is still 100% true. If they don't get to roll any defense dice then perhaps tokens come into play but two attacks aren't clearly better than one.
The more correct thing is probably to say that in some circumstances concussion missiles are better, and in others cluster missiles are better. In general I would probably take concussion missiles for the reasons you stated.
