At 62 meters another good GR75 equivalent.

This ship just keeps growing on me more and more.
Thanks! I like it the most out of all the possible S&V ships.
...and this
I'd go for anything Mandalorean, even a garbage hauler! Love those ships.
We were talking about the Hound's Tooth in another thread. The official size for the Hounds Tooth is 47,4m long. That makes pretty much a Large ship.
In the Clone Wars episode Bounty, you can see they made it smaller than before.

I'm glad you pointed out the correct size because then I can imagine it the same scale as the Falcon and see them next to each other, and I think it will look great as Scum large ship. And very likely too since he's an original trilogy bounty hunter.
I really want to see Mandaloreans, but no like SaV, I want to see in a new faction, greettings.

Yup I got to fix all of that yet.
Just tried your blog link again and makes so much more sense now
(Link didn't work for me last time..)
Looks good mate, I'm keen to see how it turns out!
Wow, I'm surprised at how much info your relayed in this post while at the same time making so much of it contradictory.
(1) "Don't fit the Tarkin doctrine" or... "have been referenced in media for two decades."
(2) "would IMO not at all represent a common pirate force" ...yet we're talking about huge ships, capital ships, so who would.
If I were to agree with the last, I would be admitting that S&V shouldn't have huge ships.
I'm not trying to be rude, I was genuinely curious as to why you'd think the Lancer and Carrack don't fit as Imperial ships. Design? Role? Name?
I mentioned the Tarkin Doctrine because I was thinking of Episodes IV-VI and how the Imperial fleet was always either a few big scary ships or a swarm of TIEs with nothing in between, so the Empire not having a Huge ship [60-100m Scout/Med TRN, or 100-200m Corvette] makes sense to me. Crappy deal to Imperial players, but I get it.
I might be splitting hairs between the Imps not having Corvettes but justifying Frigates, but it's a key military distinction and the Navy leaves the system patrol and security issues to Imperial Customs - who do use a corvette.
Personally I think pirates would and do have large and capital ships - bring on the armed pleasure cruisers and obsolete destroyers - but your reference was specifically captured Lancer- and Carrack-class ships, which I would not consider common for pirates but we're allowed to disagree. A themed list or expansion based on the idea of well-equipped S&V force would be interesting though.
The Action VI, Bulk Freighter, E-2 Mining vessel, Minstrel-class yacht, Mobquet transport, Modular Conveyor, and the Xiytiar transport are all in the same size class as the CR90 and perfect for scummy pirate Q-ships. The Lady Luck et al was me mixing up Large and Huge because I was tired. Sorry.
EDIT:
The official size for the Hounds Tooth is 47,4m long.
Well that changes things.
Edited by SunCrusherOh god they finally added good viewports to Bossk's ship.
For those interested in my work, here is the Hound's Tooth with its official size (47.4m)

It makes for a nice Large ship (not a huge ship)
Great work as always, Mel. The Hound's Tooth is definitely an odd looking puppy.

Well played sir! I spilled my tea all over my boobs thanks to that - good thing I wasn't wearing a white blouse today!
Oh, and fyi, snarfing Chocolate Peppermint tea isn't something one wants to do.
I was not aware until I dug a little deeper for info on this ship that it is a prequel ship.
You will find that many of the ships in the prequel have a place in the current war we play in and that some of the ships that we play now also have a long history...

THE PIRATE SHIP "MIN'S WIND" - concept art but still pretty cool.

Obviously, this should be the Scum Epic.
That one looks like a 'giant space goose' , cant say im mad on it.
Mins wind looks more 'cobbled together' old and piratey to me.

Since the debate continues and the Hound's Tooth is considered a large scale ship, not a huge/epic ship, I think someone should use the ships from this thread to do a popularity poll.
Hyperspace Marauder is supposed to be 164.8 meters, the CR90 Corvette and Raider Corvette both 150 meters.
Don't know if these are canon or fanon but interesting list:

I predict it's going to be a hit with Boba Fett being bigger than Darth Vader
New Vader is definitely at least on par with New Boba.
The Keldalbe's the size of a Star Destroyer.
The Crusader's CR-90 size though.

It may be a bit too much like the CR90 Corvette for FFG Designers.
