Yellow icon?

By dcstephens88, in Star Wars: Armada

Has anybody else noticed the yellow icon on each side of every capital, right inside the box that shows which dice that side uses? It's a yellow circle with little semi-circles going away from it in both directions. Any ideas what this means, or if it means anything? Every ship seems to have it, so maybe it doesn't mean anything at all, but it might indicate some ability that future ships won't have.

Nevermind, I see which one you're talking about now.

Both the VSD and CR-90 have it, and both look to be the same size... So I don't have any idea what it might mean right now.

I have noticed it too, but have no idea what it means. It looks cool, though.

Could it be spot for making measurements for range of fire for chosen facing?

I don't think so, measurements are made from nearest point to nearest point, like in X-Wing.

Starfighter speed, and the starfighter side of the range ruler are both yellow. Perhaps this represents arcs that are valid in which to command Starfighters? No need to express that in demos since it's not pertinent yet as all the displayed ships can control starfighters in all arcs.

Huh, new video says those are for LOS.

Bah, so busy watching the video forgot the link .
