I've been reading the PDF with the pictures from the F&D beta, specifically the section on Morality. However, there were a couple of references in the text to "page 220-something" for more details, especially on the amount of conflict one earns from various actions. Could anyone who have the actual beta tell me something more about this? A picture would be awesome, but even some paraphrasing would be very helpful.
[F&D] Morality and Conflict
I'll try to get it to you later. I posted it, but it was a mess!

Wow... that is interesting. It's almost written as if it is a counterbalance to the stereotypical murderhobo party...
I think it's mostly to lay out some clear guidelines for running the iconic Force sensitive in hiding/opponent of the Empire character and what is expected of them.
Fortunately its still totally OK if you want to run a dark side game. The penalties are an annoyance, but nothing the players can't live with if they do want to be murder hobos.
That's great, it's exactly what I was looking for. Thanks a lot, Yoshiyahu.

I think it is worth noting that Stormtroopers and other agents of the empire shoot first and don't both with the questions, so it shouldn't get in the way of the cool lightsaber fights everyone has come to the game to see.
I am also put in mind of this:-
My Edge party is as liable to tie our opponents up in paperwork as riddle them with blasters. I'm thinking of giving their Corportion, "Totally Legitimate Business (TLB, inc) an overall Morality score for the entire party's actions.
Perhaps have it roll over like Duty, to become "more legit?"
Awesome! I was swamped today and didn't have the time. Apologies!
I'm saddened that Slavery* is still okay in the Star Wars Universe ...
Though I could toss it in under "Unnecessary Cruelty to Non-Sapient Creatures". Twi'lek females aren't sapient are they?
* In all seriousness Droid Slavery in Star Wars has always perturbed me.
The table specified "COMMON conflict penalties". Since most player groups aren't likely to routinely engage in slave trafficking, they probably figured it would be safe to leave the determination of the conflict amount up to the GM. You know, the guy at the table whose job description is to make judgement calls like this.

Bingo!
Personally, I'd rate forcing a sapient being into slavery against their will would be worth at least 8 Conflict points. Sadly, there are societies like the Klatoonians and the Twi'leks that encourage their members to voluntarily enter into slavery as a means of escaping their homeworlds for reasons that can be looked up on Wookieepedia.

That has disturbed a number of droids as well. However, a good main tenance plan (i.e. regular mind wipes) greatly mitigates that problem.

One could easily have a case for "Slavery" being a form of "Torture"...
I don't think this list is meant to be exhaustive. Just because something is not on there doesn't mean it's a-OK.

And there are others who allow their ruling bodies to force 'citizens' to provide from their wages a certain amount to provide for the machines of their respective governments in order to fund imperial activities abroad and intimidation at home. If you fail to pay the sum then the 'citizen' is thrown in jail, has his property taken from him or worse. Is coercion on that list? Ah, yes. There it is. So, yeah, slavery is already there.

Well, one of the evils of the Empire is meant to be its enslavement of sentient species, so I wouldn't go that far (though the Jedi's indifference to it in the prequel trilogy is unnerving).
However, yeah, the treatment of droids is a questionable one in the Star Wars setting, at it is clear that at least some develop reason, sapience and sentience, and it would appear that the reason that most don't is because they have their developing minds wiped before that becomes an issue. Best just chalked up to "This is a Space Opera setting that is generally winging it, rather than a setting that gets into the nitty gritty of its morality, and so we will just sweep that under the carpet." Unless that is what you want to explore in the game of course (I just let my players treat droids as the setting treats them, as property, and with no moral consequences).

They were not indifferent to it. They just understood what happens in another nation is not their business and there is a limited amount you can do about it with out actively conquering other people. They didn't like it but there is little one person can do and even less one can do if you have another goal or obligation you need to take care of.
The list is a good set of benchmarks that give you an idea where to slip in other acts of naughtiness.
