I've never seen them with the "on the boat status" myself. I looked on Friday I think it was.

Yeah, I never saw them posted as on the boat, so I doubt there will be a delay. I was disappointed that I could not go to GenCon and have these models in hand, right now.

formally they were both "on the boat".... although I am now rethinking that if enough folks say different but i could have sworn in my semi delusional checking of the various statuses of ships i have on pre order that they both (rebel aces and YT VT had "on the boat for their statuses!!

yeah I constantly refresh the page and only saw them as far as at the printer status...Rebel Aces however have been on the boat since 7/17

I'm not too worried either way. We'll get them even though I'm checking often

But if they changed the status because they found something that needs correcting then I'll gladly wait.

FFG has fairly good quality standards.

It's possible someone updated them by mistake and fixed it... So there may of been a few minutes or more in which they were listed with that status.

So far with X-Wing they've had one case where the status wasn't accurate, that was with the Transport. Other wise, every other expansion has come out some 7-9 weeks after the status was changed.

On another note, I also noticed that the Tantive IV is being reprinted. Did it sell better than FFG expected, or did they just not make as many on the first run in anticipation of not-so-great sales? If the reprint came so soon then maybe sales exceeded their expectations. That's cool.

Well they had an idea how many units they needed based on pre-orders. But they may not of produced a lot more then that. We'll likely never really know one way or another.

It's not just the money, but also the time to properly play with the new toys. I get maybe 3-4 games in on a good week and more often than not end up with less so I haven't explored all the build possibilities yet. In the end though, new ships are new ships and I'll still happily take them whenever my preorders come in.
