Wave 6! New Cannons, new upgrade types, new maneuvers, large ships with 3 agility, this is totallly insane!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yep. Pretty much.

And like everything ffg, I hate the concept until they show how much thought they actually put Into making it work well.

Yep. I might have to join the criminals...so i can steal their upgrades for the Empire. Muahahahaha!

I love the idea of illegal tech and salvaged kit.

Everything looks so exciting. New ships are always cool but the fact that they're an entirely new faction with their own flavour, and repurposing and modifying other ships that exist now really help to make veteran players like myself feel comfortable with getting into a new faction. I'm so, SO happy. <3

I like the idea of illegal upgrades, but...

...what's so illegal about inertial dampeners? Don't all ships have those?

Inertial compensators, not dampers. I guess there's a difference?

You should watch the recent dev interview.

Even if you don't agree with every word they say, I think you will agree that those dudes display great insight into and passion for the game.

My general impression is that these are not people working an assembly line meant to exploit the Star Wars license and make money for shareholders. These are people who are trying to make the coolest, most fun stuff they can possibly come up with... and succeeding beyond all of our wildest dreams.

i really hope they are true to their words with the interceptor and advanced

but i do hope that they bring some more synergy to the empire side of the table. not necessarily like rebels play but at least like what carnor jax, mara jade crew and vader crew bring to the table. the form of punishment to your opponent.

punishment is what makes the empire feel like the empire and we need more crew and pilot abilities that do things like what was listed above. this will also help create more diverse empire lists that can help steer away from the numbers are the be all, end all in competitive play (generally speaking of course)

rebels can keep their action passing and stress removal, empire can punish them for it

and from what i understand from what they said scum and villainy are going to be tricky. and dare i say, able to possibly steal things from them? like focus and evade tokens perhaps? that would be bananas

Not according to the Wookiee page. But, the Wookiee is not infallible.

I can see how that might be fun as a game mechanic, and I can see how you would let scum and villains do such a thing, but what would it represent for them to steal someone else's focus or evade? What am I supposed to imagine is going on in the SWU situation that the game portrays?

The Star Viper looks dreadful... definitely not for me... and the IG ship looks boring and un star wars like!

But the Most Wanted Box, with the new Z95 and Y wings... yeah, okay FFG you got me, I'll be all over that!

that the s&v pilot pulled off some random crazy maneuver that the imperial or rebel pilot didn't anticipate and they are baffled by what to do. therefore losing their ability to focus or use evasive maneuvers.

just my thought process
