Am I the only one who thinks the only questionable thing with this beautiful masterpiece of a game is the name?

Imperial Assault!! whoo... yay... meh. Sure it describes the game but I'm all for one word names.

"Hey y'all let's play Descent." "X-Wing" "Netrunner" etc.

The logo looks kinda childish too with the borders.

My gaming group and I have unanimously decided to call it Ascent

I have been waiting, and dreaming, and hoping for a board game about Rebels infiltrating Imperial bases. I imagined it would be called Rebel Assault as a nod to the old video game. I suspect FFG were thinking the same thing, but decided to make it Imperial Assault instead in order to make the two games distinct. Personally, I think Rebel Assault flows off the tongue much easier than Imperial Assault.

Once it's out and widely played, I'm pretty sure people will start referring to it as "Assault" for short.

The next big expansion will be called Rebel Retaliation. (just kidding)
