Minor annoying nitpick I've always had

By YwingAce, in X-Wing

The Bomber has 2 agility, the Y-wing has 1. Yet it is confirmed canon/legends (legends is the REAL canon FFG uses) that Y-wings are more maneuverable than Bombers. That's always bothered me a little.

I'll trade you that +1 agility for your 5 hull and 3 shields...

True, I'm just saying from a fluff perspective, Bombers should be less agile (or atleast equal) than Ys.

Sounds like you two are in the wrong ships.

Lol no I'd take a Y-wing over a bomber any day of the week. Being a major nerd (I mean MAJOR), this just really bothers me.

At 1 Agi the tie bomber is cheaper than a tie fighter.

At 2 Agi the y-wing without any upgrades costs nearly as much as an ORS.

So all thier stats would need to be different if you made an agility change.

I'm not saying I should, I'm just saying FFG is usually pretty good about this stuff, and I find it interesting that they totally missed that. The ships are fine, I just find it interesting.

There's a bit in ANH durring the attack on the death star when Luke (if memory serves) is being pursued by a TIE fighter, he says "I can't shake him!". Now when I see that sceen I think, just perform a 1 Forward and the TIE will fly past you or overlap and loose it's action.

yea lol, the curse of playing a miniatures game.

Yes, and the Firespray is one of the most maneuverable ships, only after the A-wing, Tie fighter and interceptor if i am not mistaken. While the falcon is one of the least. Yet the dials would tell you the oppossite.

It is just a decission between flavor and game balance over fluff, and in my opinion game fun and balanced game mechanichs are more important when it comes down to it.

Yeah, I totally agre on the Firespray/YT-1300 dials, they really should be swapped. Why would the wide ship have a tighter turn than the tall narrow one.
