Tournament Software

By th3sku11, in Android: Netrunner The Card Game

Hi all.

I was wondering what software are people using to track results in their tournaments. I did a quick google search and I did find one IOS app and a few spreadsheet solutions but not much else.

I'd be willing to build something bespoke to help run Netrunner tournaments if there was a gap here and people would find it useful.

This is fairly popular.

EDIT: I just realised that looks awful; just a link to something with no description. That links to a Googledrive download for ANRTournament, which is a commonly used program for tracking Swiss tournaments. Plenty of automation, including calculating SoS, byes, randomising pairs for first round etc.

Thanks for that: sadly I'm on a mac so I can't check it out...

What exactly are you looking for? Sounds like, at a minimum, you're needing something that runs on either iOS or OSX. A spreadsheet template should work just fine for a Swiss style tournament. Heck, that is what is used by the owner of the nearest FLGS here for M:tG, A:NR, etc...

The advantage of something like an Excel file is that it should be a lot more OS agnostic than, say, a C++ program. There are probably websites that provide this functionality as well, which is good, provided that you either have access to the Net at the tournament site, or that the software can be run on a local computer.

The iOS app is perfect. We used it several times to handle local tournaments and it was a delight. We especially liked the sats you can get at the end.

is there nothing for Android devices?
