Follow-up question: does Plano make a tray large enough to store that beast?
Here's a size comparison photo of the YT-1300, YT-2400, and the Decimator for anyone who's interested.
That is one crazy duvet cover.
Fitting...looks like the VT is on the dark side, the 2400 on the light side and the YT somewhere in the smuggler middle.
Follow-up question: does Plano make a tray large enough to store that beast?
I am guessing the 3750 will work, it has 3 rows, 2 small and one large row. The VT doesn't look that much wider then the Falcon so it might just barely fit...
Would be nice for a max width on the VT.
Here is my 3750 with a falcon in the large row of the tray.

Did these release at Gen-Con?
how does the OP have these at home on a bed already?
I live only two hours away from Indianapolis. I was only able to go for one day since I have to work today and tomorrow. I really wanted to get these ships and the F&D beta. So I made a trip up there yesterday and spent the whole day having a good time with a buddy before coming back home. ![]()

When I get home from work in about 6 hours I'll see about getting some more pictures of the overall dimensions. ![]()
That's the one I use, but that looks longer and wider than a Falcon.
Well thankfully the VT is longer and wider than a falcon:)
My falcons are close, they sleep together:)

OH GOD MY OCD.
I have each and every miniature individually packaged in my box. I could never do this ever.

Yeah, I baby my minis too, but I wonder if I don't just do that because of my Warhammer background, where the minis were heavier and meticulously painted.
I see a lot of people giving their minis similar treatment Dandirk does.

You'll scratch the paint...cant look.
Yeah I know different strokes for different folks... My OCD is organization and usability rather then scratched paint (or battle damage as I will call it:)).
I have 50 ships, storage any other way is too cumbersome to travel with and difficult for friends and I to use. At least for me.
We were on a road trip and the Girlfiend opened the back.. my plano 1374 fell from about 5'... the only thing that broke was the radar dish off of the CR90 and it was just on top of my mat in the top container.
PS anyone in Minneapolis area want a brand new PACK 720 for $50 let me know.

But if someone else fit it into the 3750, then cool!
Is it just me or does that cannon on the 2400 look extremely long.
To represent the HLC turret, I imagine.
I meant the VT looked longer and wider than the Falcon, so I wasn't sure how well it'd fit in that cubby. But if someone else fit it into the 3750, then cool!
I hope it fits as well, looks like it should but it will be tight... we haven't gotten and official width from anyone to measure.
Edited by dandirkWith the first picture, it gives me an a clue of why it's more expensive, thanks, greettings.

As someone with little money to spare, that makes me want to cry.
These miniatures are some of, if not the best crafted and painted stock minis on the market for a reasonable price. They should be treated with respect and dignity..! ; _ ;
Ok everyone sorry for taking so long to post these pictures. I have the Plano 732, and as you can see the larger middle containers can just barely fit the Decimator.

i serriously can not wait to get my hands on the 2300. i almost like it more than the falcon really. even if it is just a ripoff. ![]()
The comforter is back!!!!
If we had a blacklight, it would like a Jackson Pollock painting.

At heart, I'm also a bit of an animist. I don't want to be mean to my minis. I think that if I treat them well, and wrap them in nice soft foam, they'll be happy and fly better.
Maybe I should actually do that to my dice rather than my minis, given that dice have more agency in this game.
Is it just me or are the paint jobs on Rebel Aces a little spotty?
OH. MY. GOD.
I have that exact same comforter.

The A wing looked a little wonky in a couple spots but still not the worst one I've seen
