Is there an AGOT "Card Coffin"?

By Hellenback, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Hi, I play the Call of Cthulhu LCG, and I purchased a Call of Cthulhu "Card Coffin" - a metal deck box containing a divider that creates 4 handy compartments. It was produced by FFG before the game was transformed from a CCG to an LCG. It has brilliant CoC artwork, and I love carrying my CoC deck in it.

I was just wondering, was such a product ever produced for the A Game of Thrones CCG? I've searched on eBay, but haven't come across one.

Thanks in advance!

It exists, but it was sold even earlier than the CoC one. So it's not surprising that they are scarce.

Thanks for the info. Was it also called a "card coffin", or was there another name for it? Knowing makes searching eBay mo' easy. gran_risa.gif

You can get one on amazon.com for $ 99

thesweetcandy is selling them in the trade forum.

I actually threw one of these away 4 years ago.

Many years ago I played the game with some people while I was in the military, liked it, and bought a few cards (and the coffin) online. A few years passed and I never had anyone play with, so I threw it out after doing some spring cleaning. A few months later the FFG Event Center opened up in Roseville (which I live a few miles from) and a meta started there. I got back into it right before Days of Ice and Fire in 2010 and I've been kicking myself about tossing that tin ever since.

Huh, didn't realize these were so hard to find these days. I got one from a mini-tournament my meta put up a month ago; our organizer put up some swag he'd gotten over the years, and I picked the coffin from the available prizes when I came in runner-up. Haven't gotten much use out of it yet, as I usually bring a few decks with me when we meet, but I'll be sure to give it some good use when I finally get to a proper tournament.
