I did a search of the forums for "Michigan" and came up with a few posts for SE and W Michigan groups but nothing for central. I'd like to not have to drive an hour for events so is there any Central Michigan organized Play?

The place listed for The Assault on Imdaar Alpha Wave IV Preview Event was AFK games in Holt MI which is close enough, it just seemed like barely anyone was there and quite frankly a bit under whelming as a place to spend my free time. I was hoping Clems downtown or evolution games on Saganw St. by the Lansing mall did x-wing but they don't appear to.

I have at least one of every ship and only get to play with my brother about once every other month so the return on investment isn't quite there yet. I'm not overly competitive but I wouldn't mind playing in a tournament after I got to play a bit more.

Just depends, anywhere from 2 to 8 come and play.

Hey man, I have a game night in Holt every monday night from 6-11ish. I sent you a PM. We play all sorts of games, including x-wing

I too would like to find a Lansing area group. I play every other week with some buddies, but we have not found a regular night yet.

Nostalgia Ink sounds interesting, but I thought the game store in Jackson was closing? I live in the Lansing area, but work in Jackson, so Tuesday nights might be great if things are going strong.

Fortress comics and games in east Lansing I think has some folks who play. I know they carry alot of xwing product and evolution games on the west side of lansing carries it as well.

I would call evolution games and ask for larry, he is the manager and will know more information or even set up a night for xwing

Norse is responsible for my addiction. I know there are games at AFK on Wednesdays, but I haven't played in them. Evolution had a tournament in July. Not sure if they have a league night or a regular night

We just played our regular X-Wing game for this week at Nostalgia Ink. I will be there next week with a new player, that just walked in this week to check out the game, to play X-Wing. The scheduled game next Tuesday is that "other" game that plays like X-Wing. But, if we can get more players of X-Wing, we can make it a weekly. Come on down!

Acrylic shield tokens.

A medal for the overall winner.

Alternative ship cards featuring stills from the movies: Wedge Antilles and TIE fighter pilots.

This event is planned for monthly events. Next month will be season 3!

I have been out of holt for a few months because of work but will be back soon. dose AFK have a standing Wednesday nigh? and what time? and is INK in Jackson still every other week?

Anybody know of Lansing or Jackson area tournaments for the new waves coming out? Having proxied some of the Rebel Aces cards I'm hopeful that the A-Wing will become a viable competitor. It is really great flying, but defense doesn't win games.

Yes and yes. My work schedule hasn't panned out for these either, but Nostalgia Ink in Jackson is 5 PM every other Tues and AFK in Holt is every Wednesday night.

Yes, X-Wing is still every other Tuesday @ Nostalgia Ink. But, if we get more people meeting to play X-Wing, it can turn into an every week thing. We will be meeting this Tuesday the 23rd!
