And wondering which place has the best quality.
There team covenanat and applied perspective.
Is there any noticeable difference between the two?

I hope not. Kinda makes you question how good of a "range ruler" it is if there's discrepancies.
I can't really compare, though, I just have a set from Applied Perspective.
Things to point out that may make a difference:
-AP's office is closed for the next four days, according to a disclaimer on their website. If you need templates soon, don't pick them ![]()
-Team Covenant doesn't appear to have the huge ship movement template yet, which AP does.
-AP also has the huge range ruler. These come with two pairs of magnets embedded in the acrylic for assembly. However, mine came slightly warped (whereas the regular range ruler came perfectly straight from a visual assessment) so I'm wondering what might have happened there (poor QC vs. sat in a package in summer sunlight for several hours).
Things to point out that are just suggestions when ordering:
-I have a mirrored set (silver) and it looks beautiful (before you get fingerprints and/or scratches on it) and I highly recommend you do not get mirrored of anything. The mirrored templates have a backing that breaks their symmetry (e.g. one side is pretty and mirrored whereas the other side is this matte gray so you have to flip it over) and it bothers me.
-Get the divided range rulers, they are so useful. Words cannot describe.
ALSO regarding the huge range ruler in general the fact that the two rulers stuck together are not co-planar means there's potential for some iffy judgment calls, I think if I ever get a chance to play an epic match I'll just use the 3+2 or 3+1 regular range ruler with the appropriate divided range ruler, placed end-to-end. Just thinking out loud here, pay no heed.
I'd say both are going to be about equal. I bought mine from AP, and I love them, but I can't compare them to the ones made by other companies so...
I have Team Covenant ones and Applied Perspective ones.
Overall I like the Applied Perspective ones better. They have more options for color & finish and the divided ones are really, really nice. Not to mention that Applied Perspective makes the short range template which is very, very handy.
Team covenant does the range 1 & 2 rulers too. It's mostly a matter of taste.
What about durability?
If you drop them they won't break, Crack?
I have a bad habit where I usually fiddle with mine.
My range ruler is getting pretty faded
Also how long does it take to reciev after ordering.
I won't be ordering for about a week or so
Edited by Krynn007UK based Cog 'o' Two got x-wing plastics as well.

They're acrylic, so they're unlikely to break or crack unless you drop them from a great distance or with great force, on to a hard surface.
I would also not recommend using them for sword dueling. But for normal play, I'd be shocked if anyone ever had one break or crack, or be damaged in any way. They should have no trouble surviving a fall from table, but I suppose if they land on the corner you might see it chip... maybe???

AP got me 2 sets in 3 or 4 days I think, maybe a work week.
I have a set from AP, and I love it. I too went with mirrored, and would not recommend it due to extreme fingerprintyness. The templates themselves are spot on. I also recommend their range ruler sets. Having the pieces that are just range 1 and range 1-2 is pretty handy
Litko ones are awesome looking. High quality product and you can even have a custom logo applied to each of them.
Litko gets my vote. But I also don't like the mirror finish by AP.
I wish FFG would release cad drawings of what the templates are 'supposed' to be. The range template is 300 mm. The ship base is 40 mm, and by extension the straights are 40/80/120/160/200. The turns and banks.... well those are another matter. They seem to be the most varied, even comparing cardboard to cardboard.
Thing is cardboard gets worn.
I'm a big fan of Applied Perspectives' maneuver templates and range rulers. They are logo-free, which is a big plus for me, and I think they have the best prices on this sort of thing.
I'm not a fan of mirrored acrylic. For range rulers, go fluorescent. For maneuver templates, opaque or fluorescent.
I love AP's tiny target locks. I also like their elite talent and astromech tokens, which are handy if you have a talent or droid effect that takes an action but doesn't kick in until later in the round.
A lot of the Cog O'Two tokens are beautiful. I've ordered a bunch of these to hand out as prizes for tournament participation.
The Team Covenant ones are awesome!
Another vote for applied perspective. Got the mirror blue ones and it's like night and day compared with the cardboard ones. I also think they give the most options and are $10 cheaper than others I see out there.
i have Team Covenant ones. they are amazing and i got them in about 3 or 4 days from the time i ordered
Just had a look around. Cog, AP and Covenant. For me the AP look like the best bet.
Looking at picking up movement templates, range 1, 2 and 3 rulers plus the tiny target locks (looks a far better application of the idea). $32. But I need to check out shipping before I order.
EDIT - $50 after postage. Too expensive for me! Looking at the Cog gear now.
Edited by SDCCCog templates are really nice in fluorescent colors, I did a quick unboxing post on my blog here:

I know Adam at Allpied Perspective and I suspect most (if not all) acrylic vendors have figured out the ideal shapes. The measurements are very clearly round numbers. The curve radius on the turns and banks and the length. I have not seen a out of spec template from any vendor in a long time. Cardboard is by far the least accurate. By it's very nature, the punching process is sloppy. The acrylic is spot on.

How did your shipping end up to be $18? Are you doing 2nd day shipping? Mine is USPS for $5.50 and arrived in less than a week.
Oh, the target locks are awesome. I don't fasten them to the number tabs (since I don't normally use them, but they're so small you can put 2-3 on a small base and not have the issue of having big target locks falling off or lying on the mat itself.
