Just had a small tournament last monday at my flgs, (4 people showed up, mostly because half of the regulars went to gencon) and i ran a Vessory list that went 2-1.
The list was:
1x Bounty Hunter
1x OSP w/vader
1x Colonel Vessory w/hlc and VI
The basic idea is to deploy with the bounty hunter and vessory on a flank, and the shuttle kinda middleish, so that it can tank the first couple rounds of shooting. Ive found that alot of times people want to ignore the shuttle if its down to 1-2 hull since its an easy kill and is usually behind their formation, so its actually really good for getting a target lock to enable vessory once it flys past. it also can help shut down where phantoms want to go and hurt howlrunners and the soontir fels.
The bounty hunter is just kinda there to be big and throw 3 dice, im not super happy with it but it does enable vessory and help shield people from shooting him, as its got a large board presence and can also fly by with a target lock and just shoot out the butt.
Vessory is just plain good, at 43 points i can count on 3-4 hits every time he shoots, and a decent chance he can keep either his target lock or focus for later, plus ps 8 keeps him fairly good for ps bids, not perfect but acceptable.
So just looking for some advice as to how to better refine the build. I did win the tournament and in general felt good about it, but i think it could be abit better, the hlc is definitely a point of contention as thats 7 points i could spend on the bounty hunter, but the extra die and range 3 bonus is really nice
