Well, looks like concept art to me and could change. But if it doesn't it won't bother me. After all, episode 7 takes place 30 years after Jedi, so the Stormtrooper armor might have gotten a redesign in that time period. For example, look at the Clone Trooper helmets in The Clone Wars TV show. They changed from what they were at the beginning to a different look at the end of the series.

Huhm, if that ends up being how they look, I'm intrigued!

I'll miss the classic look though. That said I always felt the helmets are considerably more well designed than the body armor.

I think all it would really need to give it some good character is the eyebrow that lined the top.

Maybe the shades help them shoot straight, probably prescription lenses...
