Has there been any talk of a character generator for Android anytime? I would pay for this.

That might fall under the grounds of electronic gaming material which FFG doesn't have the license to do. I suspect the dice roller gets a pass under either special exception or something, but it doesn't do anything besides roll dice. You have to set up all the dice pools you want to roll. A character generator needs to know the rules from the game system in question along with material from the various books.

PCGen, a D20 character generator, was threatened about D20 Star Wars under this same issue.

There are some lets say "character sheets" for android where you have to fill in a lot of the information by hand (but for eg. show the dice), and you might find some in the inofficial not google stores ^^.
