Hello fellow Runewars generals

A while back i finally got myself Runewars (the revised edition) and decided i'll make a foamcore inlay for it because i didn't want to store everything in plastic bags. So now i thought i'd share it with you.

The idea behind the whole thing is to reduce the setup time to a minimum (the first game was horribly long). The bottom layer includes only stuff you need during setup and can then put away. Every player can take the faction tray of his choosing and is ready to go. First i wanted to include everything (faction sheets for example) but it didn't fit. The top tray with the tokens and neutrals is also placed on the table. The only thing except maptiles that is taken out are the cards of course.

I also think that this is a nice solution if you got painted minis. There is little to no contact between minis. One thing i realized later on for the neutrals if you want even less contact: Put the giants to the dragons and don't make a wall so you have one big tray for the heroes.

EDIT: For those who would like to build it, i added my plans. I don't have any fancy 3d plans though, these are just my pen and paper scribblings. I tried to make it a bit prettier by drawing the foamcore thick and black. Please excuse any corrections and rough lines.

On the first one you find plans for the faction trays (actually three times the same and one slightly different for Daqan).
On the second one you'll find the plan for the card and token tray.
I don't have a plan for the bottom since UniversalHead of the Esoteric Order of Gamers was nice enough to send me a picture of his foamcore and i made the bottom in it's likeness with some changes. You'll have to use the pic (it's actually easier to place those hexagon walls freehand). The height is 2cm if i remember that right.

Take the actual inlays as reference. All important sizes are displayed in mm. Heights mean the height of the walls (bottom not included of course). Keep in mind that the token tray has two different heights for the pieces because the faction sheets are on top of the left part.

Card tray: the space for the fate cards is larger because i sleeved those. If you don't sleeve them, you can just make that space the same size as the others.
