Andira Runehand and the Medusae!

The Medusae are basically unchanged, though I'm still curious if they are going to be 1x2 base monsters (like the Barghests). The sculpts do look pretty big, but it might just be deceiving. I still prefer the classic look that the Medusa had, but I'm a huge gorgon fan so I'll take any I can get (plus I already have Tomb of Ice's monsters, so maybe I'll mix them together).

Andira, however, looks insaaaane! I can see that hero ability getting out of control. The heroic feat looks pretty great, too (unlike the Conversion Kit, the monster can be 3 spaces away and not just adjacent). And pretty great overall stats. As primarily an Overlord player, I could see Andira being a really frustrating hero choice.

What does everyone else think about them?

I tought the same ! Andira is way more powerfull. She was good, she will be a real good choice.

Heroes of the base game are not gonna get out often now ... :(

When I saw her ability wasn't once a turn... dang... she looks solid, especially as a Disciple, or as a bard due to the fact that she wants to stay near her party.

The hero ability is undeniably powerful, especially considering that it includes Andira herself. The heroic feat while it may look stronger than the CK, it's just the range that makes it so, not the damage. Before, it was healing the damage you dealt (not considering defense,) whereas now it's damage suffered , meaning only the damage that isn't blocked is recovered (but you get to double it.)

I'm going to have a ton of fun dark charming and using shadowmancer deck against a party with Andira to make her own hero ability hurt them as they kill each other.

I would be surprised if they changed the base size of the Medusae with the new sculpts. I suppose anything is possible, though.

The thing I noticed about that picture is that the hero bases looked remarkably large for single space bases. That leads me to believe the Medusae and Sorcerers are probably both 1 space, in the same scale as the heroes in front of them. With that in mind, the Golem actually looks a bit small for a 2x2, assuming it's to scale with the rest of them.

Wow, thats one badass healer. Avric Albright finally has some serious competition !

The sculpts look really nice too:

I doubt very much that the base sizes have changed- these pictures are to show you the sculpts, not the scale. For reference look at this incredibly deceptive (scale-wise) picture from Oath of the Outcast . The bane spider looks to be almost as small as a cave spider in that image.
