What do you think gang, will large ships be a part of Armada?
I think (hope) they just might add them to the game.
If they do, I see large ships being setup on the fighter sized bases.
It sure would be cool.

You should be a little more specific by what you mean by "large" ships. I think you mean the X-Wing sense (Falcon, FIrespray) of "large". For all we know, "Large" ships in this game could mean Super Star Destroyers.

I think an ISD and the Moncal ships are probably in the loop, and I think they should be used. A SSD I think will still be to large for this format, but I'm sure someone will jump and scream "I want my SSD"
there are lots of ships they could do with this, I'm curious to see which ones they come up with.

I was at first thinking you were referring to the Imperial-II Star Destroyer. "Well duh, large ships are going to be in Armada....oh, that might be what he meant."
We don't know if Armada has its own ship categories after all. The Nebulon-B and CR_90 might be classed as small or medium ships, and the Star Destroyer a medium or large.
I have to smile at the thought of a neat little pack which may include the entire range of X-Wing Large ships.
I do not think FFG would make an expansion like this, but it is fun to think about how that would affect the game.
I will say that I am sure there will be a Falcon and Slave 1 in the future.

Falcon probably but I'm not sure about Slave-I. I'd rather see tons of Standard Imperial Equipment in play. X-Wing is fine to have bounty hunters because they had neat and cool spaceships. That's irrelevant here in Armada; Capital ships are the front and center of the game. Hutts and Hapans could be in the future, but the closest thing I can think of being a "bounty hunter capital ship" is the Errant Venture .
Considering we don't have Tydirium yet, I don't know how likely it'll be before we see the Venture.
I think it's easy enough to imagine multi-crew strike craft happening in Armada though. Tiny one-ship minis of our favorite ships in place of the trio of fighters. Only problem is, what's the empire going to use for their CR-90 equivelants? Decimators? I'd rather see the Escort shuttles.

Cool man. Yeah I would be very surprised if there are no shuttles for the Imperial fleet.

Keep in mind that they already have Luke as a leader for an X-Wing squadron. I doubt they would miss the opportunity to put Han or Boba Fett in with their signature ships. They could either be the lead ship in a squadron of X's, TIEs, etc, and still have a health of 5. Or they could even just be solo with a health of 2 - powerful fighter-scale craft with their own unique abilities but easily killed if not escorted by other fighter squadrons.
Indeed, I never thought of seeing the Falcon or Slave flanked by a couple of fighters on a single base. That would be one way to include them. But I seriously doubt they would have enough impact on their own. But as a squadron leader, quite possibly.

Kinda depends on the scale of a squadron. Does the stand represent the firepower of just the three models on the stand, or is it representing a 12 ship squadron. Most of the fluff for the capital ships that carry fighters have them listed as 12 per squadron, and at that scale a single Falcon's firepower would be fairly insignificant. Try taking the Falcon into combat against 12 TIEs in X-Wing and you'll see what I mean.
I'm suspecting we may see them as squadron leaders flanked by fighters. Probably won't do much for their firepower, but maybe add a cool ability.
I was thinking of a Large ship compared to the ships currently in Armada. But, I also kinda hope they have non-uniform bases in this one.
As for the X-wing Larges, it seems unlikely because this game is about huge vessels and whole squadrons

Keep them. I wanted some real military equipment from the Empire, like JV-7 escort Shuttles, Assault Gunboats, DX-9s, Sentinels, and Lambdas... not these money gunners. I don't care how good they are, I don't need their scum. I'd trade all the credits used on buying their services towards giving me real military starfighters, like TIE/Ds and Phantoms.
They probably fill some role that Armada needs now but thematically I'll be happy when we have some real Imperial hardware to replace these.
