The (Doppelganger) Luke Upgrade

If someone is fielding Han Solo in the Falcon and Luke Skywalker in his X-Wing ... is it illegal (or just bad form) to also give Han Solo the "Luke Skywalker" pilot upgrade card?

I mean — Luke can't be flying his X-Wing AND helping man a weapon on the Falcon at the same time, can he?

It's illegal. See the rules on Unique Names on page 18. A player cannot field two or more cards that share the same unique name. In a team game, this limit applies to each team.

-facepalm- Generally a good idea to read the rulebook before asking. Also, common sense dictates a person can't exist twice.

The little dot by Luke's name indicates he is unique; a unique person/droid cannot be fielded more than once, regardless of whether or not one is an upgrade
