Just a thought ( or maybe bothan spies are whispering), since j.j.abrams is on episode7, and armada will be released roughly the same time star wars episode 7 will hit the theaters. Can we expect to see starships design based on the movie released for this game?

The e-wing is based from dark empire series which is roughly the same timeline as episode 7. And disney approved it.

Roughly, being 24 years? Dark Empire started 6 years after The Battle of Endor. Episode 7 is approximately 30.

We might see episode 7 ships eventually but it won't be jjs designs he's just the director he has final say in what's used but he just picks from what someone else has worked on.

I don't think that FFG could use the JJ Abrams yet, maybe in the last part of the year, but not in the start, so it couldn't, greettings.
