Taking a close look at the components for Star Wars Armmada reveals upgrade cards that are awefully close to the X-Wing ones. I'm not talking about similar art; I mean the same cards with perhaps a slightly different border.

Do you think they will make them interchangeable, to incentivize X-Wing players into buying Armada?

Not likely at all. The systems are completely different, so it would be nigh impossible to have them work in both worlds

I'm not a Jar Jar fan. I just don't hate him utterly.

In lore however he's totally to blame for Palpatine being in power, so there's that.

Nah, I doubt the upgrades are interchangeable. It'd be hella' cool if some were, however. Could aaaaaaalmost see crew working that way. Almost.

If they did this so many people would rage because they'd have to pay $100 to get a compatible card.

Besides that, it's a different game entirely. If the two games are compatible it will be through a campaign system - first fight with the Capital ships, then fight with just the starfighters.

I actually hope not, as I don't want to have to buy expansions/cores from another game just to get an exclusive upgrade card to use in X-Wing.
