I got into X-Wing Miniatures around March of this year. Before I even bought my first core set I noticed a really helpful video on Youtube explaining the rules and flow of gameplay.
I'm not sure when that came out in relation to when the game was first released, maybe it took a while for inspiration to strike, but when do you think we'll see a tutorial like this for Armada?

Wow, I got into XMG at around the same time. I also watched the tutorials. I think we'll get some promotional videos, but I don't recall any official videos. There were a LOT of fan-made videos that I watched though.

As am I, but the game was just ANNOUNCED an hour or two ago. We. Ant have someone giving us a walk through of the rules until the game gets released and someone actually HAS the rules.
Rumor is that they will be demoing the game at gencon, so we can get reports of how it plays after that.
March of this year would've been over a year and a half since X-wing was released. So give it some time.
I really would need a youtube video to REALLY understand the movement. I didn't totally get how it worked. Never been a learn-by-reading type, but more of a learn-by-watching/doing type.

Yeah there's definitely a crap-load of Youtube videos made by all kinds of people.
Specifically, though, in referring to the official video released by FFG.
FFG will release their own video a little before release. As they always do.
One of the board game review sites will have the demo up on YouTube during or after GenCon. Board Game Geek will have something, just a matter of time.
I plan to cover Armada on my youtube channel, as I already cover X-Wing and this seems to be a logical fit.
I think we should revisit this point because I am think we should have one by now

It's neither official nor a tutorial, but this demo from Team Covenant goes over the basics of gameplay with none other than James Kniffen, who's kind of a big deal in Armada.
