Froma scale of brussel sprouts to buffalo wings.
Or
Stewed gundark to deepfried rancor steaks.

I happen to like brussel sprouts, when prepared well
10000 out of 100!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I happen to like brussel sprouts, when prepared well
That's right!
OP, why the hate on Brussel sprouts?
I'm pretty **** excited. Capital ships.... how long I have longed for thee!
That said, I'm a bit weirded out by the supporting system, and it might take me a while to embrace the sliding scale.
I'll be taking those plastic minis and smashing the attack wing ones with them.
This game is everything I wanted in a star wars capital ship battle game. Bring my Star Destroyers, and let my enemies scramble before me!
Is "Giddy" appropriate?
Mmmmm roasted in a balsamic glaze.....
Gruyere cheese sauce.

I actually like brussel sprouts also, I guess I meant the scale is from good to amazing! Sorry for the confusion.
Thoroughly steamed brussels sprouts with just a dash of salt and pepper...yummm
Really though, I would say my excitement is pretty maximal. I am sincerely hoping that there is more depth to this Star Wars ship-battling game than X-Wing and (knock on wood) a little less statistical variance.

That's a bit purist on the sprouts.
Anyway, what sort of depth are you looking for that you find missing in X-Wing?
We talk about food a lot, and I just realized it's 9:30 PM here and I still haven't eaten dinner.
Edited by Audio WeaselYou're three hours ahead of me, but I too am starting to feel peckish.
To be honest, I was really hoping for a Clone Wars era ground-based game first. Probably not gonna happen, and we'd get a GCW era one before that anyway, but...I had my hopes.
I really,
really
love the LAAT gunship. :/
This is neat, but it's already got such a high price point and I can barely afford my beloved X-wing.
A fat prime steak with A.1. and a big russet backed potato with nice broccoli and cheese with bacon and a side of fried mushrooms and onions.
Washed down with a few very good ice cold drinks.
I'll be taking those plastic minis and smashing the attack wing ones with them.

I imagine that a copy of this announcement was posted to the Attack Wing development team:
"Dear Wizkids;
For your information, this is what a capital ship wargame looks like.
Yours sincerely,
Fantasy Flight Games.
P.S. Mua Ha Ha."
They don't need to sent any official announcement to the Attack Wing people. The results are going to speak for themselves.
Attack Wing is going to keep the playability and cost advantages compared to Armada I'm afraid to say, but that might be about it. Let the Attack Wing players continue their futile chase of the latest and greatest combo cards and earnestly burn away their money. We FFG fans know our cash is much better spent and on a company that loves us better.
My excitement is exciting!
