Yes, I will buy it. I'm all in.
Will you buy star wars armada?
At the least two copies from the get-go, possibly more.
No.
You don't plan on getting it?
I will wait until reviews and unboxings. And if i can help it, some demo games at my FLGS before deciding if i buy it.
We're all going to buy it all, and we're all going to be completely skint for the rest of our lives ![]()
Pass.
No. Does nothing for me
Not yet.
Yup...kinda like Pokemon....gotta gettem all haha
I can only consume star wars media/products as fast as my income will allow.
A purchase of Armada for me, is inevitable.
I will buy it. LOTS of it.
You don't plan on getting it?
I do not. It doesn't have that combination of qualities that attracted me to X-Wing in the first place, and, being a different game, I can easily pass without feeling I'm missing out on building blocks for my lists.

Hope you didn't take my asking the wrong way.
I may well eventually take a look at Armada... but I'm currently much more interested in seeing how FFG plans to continue to expand and develop X-Wing, and especially the Epic play format of the game.
personally I wouldn't care if FFG totally started making up ships from scratch for X-wing...I mean with JJ/Disney messing up the canon etc....

This may actually be why they developed it, so that people won't have to feel like they HAVE to buy capital ships in order to get certain cards. I know there was some griping regarding the stuff included with the transport and the corvette

The canon wasn't messed up, it's the same as it ever was: the movies are canon, everything else would be dropped faster than a stick of dynamite with a lit fuse if they would contradict the movies.
It's now just a bit more formalized.

1) Is the rebels have two in xwing and it would be a big let down if they didn't give the imperials any
2) If they don't come out with any imperial huge ships then imo and probably many others it'll look like they are giving up on epic play.
Which would not sit well with folks seeing as they spent a lot of money on huge ships only to have no support shortly after release.
In the future I'll predict that they will come or with two huge ships for the imperials and there will be the same old "its not fair thread " and "it's the end of the worlds" threads will pop up for a week or two afterwards "

Well they have started to retcon a few things from what I have heard. Apparantly, the CR90 is now the Alderan Corvette (which makes no sense if true).
I'm definitely in the wait and see camp and unless it's absolutely amazing, I'll probably pass. The price point isn't very friendly and it looks really over-designed and clunky. The bases detract from the ships and seems like it won't look as cool as X-Wing does on the table. On top of that, FFG threw every possible gaming trinket and chotchkie they could in it.
No.
Expensive. Scale issues. Models don't look as good as xwing. It will compete and detract from my xwing time and fun. There's no room for another SW game system, for me anyway. I just don't think it will be even half as popular as xwing.

This.
Scuttlebutt has it that STAR WARS: ARMADA will be at Gen Con next weekend ("next weekend", yup I said it.
). So, I'll give it a try there on Friday. It will sure be the hot demo, especially on Friday when everyone that was in the X-wing Nationals [Flight 1] on Thursday will be able to try it.
Once it's released, I might get it. The price point of $99.95 is the deciding factor. We'll see when the time comes.
Fair enough.

Of course not. ![]()
Well they will still probably come out with a wave of huge ships for the imperials for a couple of reasons.

I'm sure they'll release imperial huge ships, but the variety of huge ships in Epic I would wager won't be as large as the variety of capital ships in Armada.
