Definitely buying the starter. How much more than that depends on the quality of the rules, which I am optimistic will be awesome.

If the rules suck, I'll just get the starter and a couple models here and there because FFGs models are fantastic and a small fllet of star destroyers on a shelf will look amazing.

If the game is as good as X-Wing, probably at least 2 of everything, more of the really cool stuff.

I will most likely play both. The games are different enough that it should make for a pretty decent way to switch things up once in a while. Besides the miniatures FFG puts out are amazing so I know I will be buying the Miniatures for it any way.

Do yourself a favor and don't look it up, you might squeal with delight like a young girl.

Personally I will not buy Armada until I see it in action. One of the things I do not like about it is the small scale of the ships. I much prefer the X-Wing Tantive IV over the one being released in Armada. Plus, I doubt I will be able to afford the expansions in accordance with the X-Wing Expansions.

It looks interesting, but the game play will need to convince me to throw money into it. At this point I would rather see an Imperial Epic ship come out for X-Wing.

I googled it an if it's the same thing the OP said I will buy it. If anything, just like a collection just as I am doing now with X-wing and Star Trek Attack Wing. Hopefully the prices will be reasonable as well.

Not at that price point given the current information. I like it but I don't like it enough to spend that much on it.

I am totally going to buy this game. I am caught hook line and sinker and am willingly throwing my 100 $1 bills at my FLGS on day one.

I'll buy it eventually, most likely, but I'm in no rush. X-wing will be my main miniatures fix for the indefinite future, and given my limited budget I won't have much opportunity for branching out into other things, especially as expensive as Armada looks to be.

If you look at xwing core set and expansions price difference

I'm guessing the small ships will probably come in under $40, but yeah, as a ballpark for "cruiser" type ships, probably 40ish is a good guess.
