K-turn and asteriods

By Nuke0504, in X-Wing Rules Questions

This topic has come up the last three weeks for me. Do you perform the 180 when you go through or land on an asteroid? I know you dont get an action. I know you dont get to fire if on the asteroid. I know you roll for damage if you go through or land on the asteroid. I also know that you receive the stress for the k-turn, I just want to know if you perform the 180 turn at the end of the k-turn if you land on the asteroid? and where this information is found?

Yes you do. When landing on an obstacle you complete the maneuver. The only time you have to back up and not complete a maneuver is if you overlap a ship.

Can't provide a rules reference at the moment, but it should be in the rules for overlapping obstacles.

Completely agree. Hopefully FFG adds clarification to it in the next edition of the X-Wing FAQ.

Shouldn't need to be a FAQ entry.

Page 17 - Overlapping Other Ships clearly explains how to overlap a ship and what happens to the k-turn.

Page 20 - Moving into and Through Obstacles states "Execute the maneuver as normal".

Thanks.
