Very nice. And it looks like they are in the varying scale i used way back when to be sort of compatible with Starship Battles. i can finally dust off my Praetor again

Hm, it looks like they are certainly using a sliding scale. Awesome news, but I was hoping that the scale would be consistent. That would, of course, make the Victory class Star Destroyer 6 times longer than the CR-90.

Ooo. Just reading through the blurb, I find it fascinating that they're simulating how bigger ships are more unwieldy to command. I'm very curious to see how this turns out.

So getting this when it comes out.
I predict they will incorporate the x-wing game into the battles the fleets engage in. Looks interesting , nice way to recapture the x-wing maket, trickey bastards, lol.
My only problem with this is that I am worried it will overshadow or replace X-Wing. If the two can happily co-exist, then I am happy.
Big ships, multiple firing arcs, entire squadrons instead of individual fighters...

...which means that if they were using a scaling system, it should be three times as long as the Nebulon B. So they're clearly not working to a specific scale.
(as if we couldn't tell that just by looking at the X-Wings...)
