Hey everyone. So I know the official FFG games sold out in like two minutes on the GenCon page. I know a lot of you were hoping to get in one or any of those games and couldn't. While the official FFG modules for the con are all in their possession, I will be running a few pick-up games throughout the con. (My buddy Ryan Brooks probably will be as well).

All of my pick-up games this year are being handled through the Order 66 Podcast, and will run on a first-come, first served basis. I am VERY likely to be running games on Friday or Saturday late into the night, so anyone who wants a chance to game with me (Sorry I'm not Sam or Jay or Sterling) should be able to. I'm not sure which night yet, but either Friday or Saturday night, after 7 or so, I believe The Order 66 guys, myself, and Ryan will just be running pick-up games all night long, for whoever shows up, until I have gamed, chatted, and met with everyone who shows up.

You may be asking yourself, "Well, how do I get myself into one of these games?" It's simple! You need to follow @D20Radio on Twitter. When I want to run a game, I send them a tweet, which they rebroadcast. The first six to respond/show up, get to game. If you don't get there first, don't despair! (See what I did there?) We'll work something out to make sure you get a chance to get in a game. And if you happen to pick up a copy of Far Horizons (or Suns or the AOR GMK) at the Con (it'll apparently be out), I'll be more than happy to scribble in it for you, if you like.

RL, Its easy to just download it onto a smart phone and create an account, only folliowing D20Radio for the weekend of the con, then delete it. You'll get a phone alert the second pick up games are announced.

So long as you have chosen to follow either me directly @KRKappel, or D20 Radio @D20Radio, you should receive a phone alert (assuming you have the app on your phone) whenever myself or D20 Radio post to twitter. So when we put out the call for a pickup game, just send a message, or, if that proves complicated, just race to the designated area and be there quickly. It's gonna be fun!

Hey KRK, I'm not able to make Gencon, but I am scheduled to run 3 adventures at my local con in Oct. I don't suppose you could share your stories? I can pay with Virtual Oreos or something..

Sadly, the FFG official modules I'm running are their property, so I am not allowed to share them. I imagine they might eventually make their way online for official download after the con, though. Sorry!

I had a great time running my official FFG games as well as my pickup games. Thanks for everyone who came out and sacrificed sleep to play in my games! I hope they were as fun for you guys as they were for me.

Didn't get a chance to meet you but did meet a lot of the d20 radio guys testing the eons dice. My wife really enjoyed talking with everyone from gamer nation studios.
