I am confused by what other players in my group have stated, about disks & terrain - I'll thus explain, so maybe you guys/gals can please help!:

If a disk is overlapping terrain, is another disk, overlapping the first one (overlapping terrain; in other words: 2 disks on top of each other & the bottom one on top of terrain) considered overlapping said terrain also?

In other terms:

Disk A is overlapping Disk B

Disk B is overlapping Terrain.

Would then Disk A be considered overlapping said Terrain also ( and Disk B )?

Yes.

Overlap doesn't necessarily mean contact. It just means that your disk is over the terrain. No matter how many disks are between you and that terrain.
