Woof, in my last two games I've seen Corran and Soontir both one-shotted... Corran by Whisper with Predator and Soontir with a green A Wing.

Love and hate when that happens.

I had my HWK one shotted by an xwing with APT and getting boosted from jan ors.

Those green dice are true agents of chaos, they laugh at your maths and roll all blanks anyway.

First tournament I competed in was this years store championships. In the first game, I had Howlrunner attacked by a Rookie X-Wing. Howlrunner was at range 3, behind an asteroid and had a stealth device. The rookie rolled 3 hits and Howlrunner rolled 6 blanks.

There's so many times I just need to roll 1 evade and I'll throw all blanks.

I prefer to call one-shotting toasting.

Speaking of toasting Soontir Fel with Stealth at Range 3 through an Asteroid, happened after my Blue with an HLC rolled 4 hits and my buddy rolled 6 blanks. It was beautiful.

Range one with outmaneuver and TL outside the firespray's firing arc. Got 2 hits and 2 direct hits.

I have yet to have a Z-95 or an A-Wing take any less damage than full from a single opponent, though thus far it's been from phantoms, HLCs, and a Falcon. Mostly, either ship dodges all the damage, or it dies, nothing in between.

Wedge with Opportunist firing an APT can one shot many things, it's so much fun to roll those dice. I've 2 shotted Boba Fett with him too.

The ultimate one shotter would be Rexler with Cluster Missiles + Opportunist, supported with Yorr (with FO to hand a focus). From my count he can 1 shot anything... Technically.

4 hits from the first cluster missile = 4 shields

2 hits + 2 crits from the second cluster missile = 1 shield + 1 face down direct hit + 2 face up minor explosions

Resolve Minor Explosions, draw 2 more face down direct hits

Spend focus to flip all cards up

Re-resolve Minor explosion, draw 2 more face down cards

Total damage = 15 damage - 2 over kill on a YT-1300.

This can also apply to the Decimator, but the second attack would have to deal 2 face down direct hits + 2 face up minor explosions, for a total of 16 damage. Therefore, Rexler and Rexler alone can 1 shot anything!

Six blanks? You don't get an extra die for Range 3 with a secondary weapon.

Airen Lost both shields to a cow and Vader force crushed a direct hit. Does that count?

I've had my TIEs and Interceptors one-shotted before. I think in one game Wedge did it twice to my TIEs!

I had Dark Curse 1-shotted twice over the course of my last tournament.

My best would be an actionless Firespray frying the Prototype Pilot that boosted to block him (further backtracking was forced by another friendly ship).

At Imdaar Alpha I was on both the receiving and giving end in back to back games. 3rd round, Hobbie is my last ship left alive, full health. Blue squadron with an HLC and a target lock fires, after the target lock reroll it's (hit hit hit crit). Two blank green die later and the crit was a Direct Hit.

Next and last game, we both knew we were out of the running so we just lined up and ran at eachother. Hobbie ends up shooting at Luke at range 1, and pretty much the same result. (hit hit hit crit) vs (blank blank) to a Direct Hit. We both just had to laugh at how ridiculous it was.

last time I played I one shot a rookie X-wing with a range one TIE defender and the very next game vaporized an uncloaked Whisper with my own Whisper at range one.

I have also stopped using academy ties as filler lately due to them consistently dying in one attack.

i've fried soontir fel with a rook's proton torp in one shot... man did that feel good. Probably the reason why I'm like one of the only people who actually like taking torps on a regular basis.

I managed to one shot a Tie bomber! It had all 6 hull but no tokens!

I used Cluster missiles, I rolled three hits (maybe a crit mixed in but irrelevant), all the defense dice were blanks or focus.

Second three dice ended up all hits again, all the defense dice, blanks or focus again!

It was crazy and completely unexpected!

My best so far was when my PS11 Vader one shot-ed a PS10 Wes - Vader used a Proton Rocket to get 5 hits and Wes was thoughtful enough to roll two blanks.

This was extremely fortunate because 1.) it was the first round of shooting for that game, so my opponent's PS10 Wes did not get to throw any red dice that game... and 2.) Wes would have had a nice shot at my uncloaked Whisper.

It does not get much better than that.
