Advanced Concussion Missiles?

if concussion changes blanks to hits, then maybe advanced concussion changes blanks to crits?

i would be ok with a shield bypassing mechanism for this upgrade, but the upgrade would need to be pretty expensive in point cost. We already have a shield bypassing upgrade now, so another one really isn't out of the realm of possibility...provided the cost matches the effectiveness.

soo bypassing shields in a missile..

does this come out wth advanced homing missiles that make the targets agility 0 during the attack?

Advanced concussion missiles were absurd in TIE Fighter. One was basically a guaranteed kill on any unshielded ship, and wookiepedia says that a pair would bring down a TIE Defender or Stormtrooper transport. I don't remember them being quite that powerful, but they were really, really good.

Oh yes, they were so, so good. Almost impossible to dodge too, and they tore lighter armored craft apart with only a single missile, shields or no.

Point at Z-95, remove Z-95.

Yeah for that cost it would have to reliably deal more than 1 damage. See also: Assault Missiles, Homing Missiles.

Oh, wait... that reliability thing gets you every time...

Target Lock. Spend your target lock to fire this missile. If the target is hit, the firer draws 3 face up damage cards and selects the one they one. The target then suffers the result on that card.

What do you think? It's an automatic critical hit, if you hit for 4 points.

I'm a fan of for 1 point more than normal concussion missiles, it converts the one die to a crit instead of a hit like normal concussions.
