I've watched every episode of Table Top, and he comes across as pretty down-to-earth. He certainly doesn't take himself too seriously. Most of the time.

The combination of Wesley and Data however is pretty bad. Trek science isnt really any better than Wars science they just talk about it more.

I dont think it is Trek that is low. It is Trekkies. And having known a lot of them i cant really argue the placement.

I've been a hardcore SW fan my whole life, but recently came out of my shell and watched TNG with my wife. I actually really liked the series despite the movies being from a completely different dimension.

Personally I didn't think Wesley was nearly as bad as everyone made him out to be. Sure, it was a little unbelievable when the preteen saved the entire ship over and over while the fully capable crew was helpless, but I didn't really find his character annoying.

And for the record, JarJar needs to die in a fire, so it's not as if my ability to detect annoying is broken.

I have nothing against Will Wheaton. And im sure Ahmed Best (i think that is his name) is a swell fellow But the characters they play make me cringe

One thing that gets me is people who hate actors, not realizing that they have little choice in what words they get to speak. They are following a script after all. They can't help it if the story they have to tell is bad.

If you want bad acting look at Blake Lively from Green Lantern. At no time did I picture her as a hot shot test pilot/ business entrepreneur but more of a half baked chick barely able to string two sentences together. Her speech and thought process were SOOOO slow that I thought she might be on something. That was bad acting.

Side-note: Bronies in same category as Furries - You betcha!

I got permission from my wife (it's decorating so she gets final say in that category) to paint the basement/gym area as the interior of a Star Destroyer (I want the Death Star decal for one of the "windows").

You could always go to a motorcycle dealership and see if they will let you have the polystyrene packing form bike deliveries and line the walls and floor with them they were a good chunk of what the dearth star surface was built from. we used to snag them when i was a young un back in the day and fly our MPC X Wing and TIE Advanced kits kits over them. Of course that was a while back. They might be using something more ecologically sound now

I don't like Crusher or Wheaton. I'm ok with his gaming stuff but I don't want to hear politics from any side in it.

The whole purpose IMO of any good game is to leave the real world for a bit, and it is not serving the purpose to drag reality into our fantasy time.
