Giving this another go. Advice?

That's not a bad idea- I like you use of ranged monsters. My only input would be that since Zachareth spawns on the entrance if he's defeated, don't be afraid to throw him at the hero with the casket early on. Don't get left behind, but wail on the hero, and if you get defeated, you'll be given a headstart toward the exit.

I was thinking this as well. Throw him in, and keep the menders in harassment range and maybe close enough to run in and pop off the odd heal from the master.

Or just have him go balls out on his own while the menders head to the rally point. Just stall as long as I can to draw more OL cards.
