Asteroid base done, this is the 'Imperial/Rebel' version, just working on a more colourful pirate version for my uglies to nest in

A few variations possible, for instance with or without the little pad at the back

And the pad itself can either hold the docking boom or additional landing area for the smaller ships

The docking boom caters for the larger ships...

Vader and his buddies get together for a cozy little cup of tea before the next campaign of fear and annihilation..

Han stops off at the local drive through 'two shakes and a large Ewok burger with fries please'

Or a den of scum and villainy where the rebels hatch their nefarious underhand tactics...

I might create some alternate plug ins for the weapons too

we will be selling the 'top bits' separately so you can customise too, this way you can simply purchase a full base and then buy separate tops for different systems (the base obviously is heavy and more expensive to ship) I also plan on making some more widgets to go with the base set so it can be used in various systems and be a little more unique but for now straight repaints are all I have time for, Klingon forward base and Federation science station next on my list!

MkII Rebel Assault Frigate finished!

Named her the 'Mighty Mo' in memory of a recently departed, much loved and frankly bloody awesome mother-in-law, gawd bless her

She caps off the Rebel fleet (for now) Should make for an interesting game when I find a table big enough to play!

Tower HQ set done, we will probably be slotting this in with the next kickstarter (should be kicking of before the end of March) alongside the Asteroid Station and Space station

What will probably come with the HQ set (unpainted of course), everything is modular and can also be used alongside our existing tower sets

These are a few possibilities of what you can build with the base set!

With TWO base sets you can go crazy, it's like Sim-tower!

Have you sorted out rules for the combined game?

Are the rebel guys in the station taking out the turrets from the inside?

Are the ships knocking out power nodes to unlock doors for the operatives?

Sounds really fun.

Rogue, all of the above! Haven't had time to play a combined game but I reckon on a turn by turn basis with outside attacks effecting sections of the board and troops taking control of key areas it would be pretty cool and lots of fun!

Little work in process on some debris fields to match the tokens in the expansions, also 3-deed up the rest of the tokens such as the escape pod, shuttle and satellites, will probably sell these in a set to replace the original card sets

Little imagination is required but try and imagine the bases painted black with the debris picked out and painted and a large piece of debris with smaller pieces 'floating' around it, update soon as I find time to cast and paint!

I have made the bases themselves a little chunkier and man sized because I am sick of scrabbling around trying to pick up card tokens on a slippery vinyl surface just because I don't have lady nails, meh!

Right, had a little time to assemble 3D replacements for the Xwing debris, shuttle, escape pod and satellite tokens. Also assembled the Armada debris and asteroid token replacements....now to find some time to splash a little paint on them!

3 weapon variants, double cannon, missile launcher and Ion cannon, interchangeable and the components allow a little freedom when assembling, might do a mine launcher too

Finished painting the Debris tokens btw, came out nice, I'm now tempted to make myself a bazillion of them for an epic confrontation!

Deathraven joins the ugly fleet! Angled the foils a little as I prefer the profile compared to the perpendicular look

Designed some alternative turrets and a funky little escape pod 'thingy' to bolt on, should inspire some fun scenarios. Taken down the base to critical levels? those important personnel trying to escape in the pods? lets go get them! oh, hang on...what IF one of those suckers was booby trapped to explode...guess you better be careful! How about mixing with Imperial Assault? imagine your team of commandos fighting their way to the core, planting demo charges then having to make their way to the escape pods...all the while the space battle outside raging on!

Also figured Those scum are gonna want some nice juicy targets so I created this funky little Container barge. I magnetised it all up but if you have any of our container packs it would be fun to pin them with 3mm rods and use the 'floaters' to represent containers ripe for pick up once you have blown the coupling links. How about creating an epic space train with more than one kit!

These things are so cool, I ordered a pile over the weekend and look forward to the great ambience they will add to the game.

Planning on creating an SD board with the rear half of the ship so created these to use as objectives. Very tempted to do the same for a mon cal or similar to sit across from it on another mat, imaging a game where all the little guys (not forgetting the large xwing ships) are slugging it out in the middle of two behemoths trading broadsides...oh ****...in crawls the brain worm...has to be done now (facepalm)

It's all compatible with the existing tower system too, the new guns are sat on top of the large tower bases and look pretty nifty connected to any of the other parts

Saw a few pics of a style of space station I have always liked in one of my Diagostini falcon mags, just had to make it! 25cm span...its a biggy and will make a brilliant centrepiece for our games! the arm disks can be exchanged for a weapon variant and then simply pop on your weapon of choice smile emoticon I have pinned and magnetised mine as I intend to slap a few spare pods around with the lump hammer and create a destroyed version much like our smaller model. I have included an Armada ISD & Halo CAS in a couple of pictures for scale
