Does anyone ever use Tetran Cowell? I think he's pretty fun to use. Especially with Adrenaline Rush for a nice one time surprise.
Most Underrated Pilot
Captain Kagi, that poor clone don't get no love from the people.
Consider him for epic play.
Enhances Scopes (moves at ps0, still shoots at ps8)
Counter-measures (one time use, discards a TL, bumps AGI by +1)
Flight Instructor (lets you get more mileage out of your 2-3 def rolls)
Move first. Attract target locks by an assault missile carrier so it doesn't get put on a fragile TIE swarm. Or attract a Target Lock from a CR90 trying to fire at range 5. Discard the most dangerous TL. Then defend well against all attacks.
Really annoying for the opposing player when he wants to focus on more dangerous targets.
Hardly anyone uses poor Turr anymore.

Try Outmaneuver or Wingman. works nicely in combination with Yorr.
Han Solo. That guys really good with MF title, C-3po and gunner, but I've never seen anybody at my LGS use him.
Also Echo. Everybody uses Whisper instead, like give Echo a chance!
I personally love Tetran Cowell! I just throw a cheap talent like VI or Adrenaline Rush on him and maybe a defensive upgrade or two.
Easy answer! Who is the most underrated pilot: the one who kills your last ship!
Dark Curse.
I don't see a lot of Boba
If anything I think Boba is OVER rated. His ability is lame. But people take him pretty often because he is a PS 8 Firespray, which isn't anything to shake a stick at, or because Boba Fett is a cool guy.
I will admit, I took Luke, Vader, and Han Solo the first time because they were cool from the movies, but after that I take them because they are good in the game. But I still take Boba from time to time because he is Boba and not because he is very good.
Imp Boba's ability actually isn't half-bad.
Lando! If my friends weren't all rebel all the time I'd run him once in a while.
Turr Phennir is also worth mentioning, as he's kind of dead from turret sickness. Maybe we can autothrust him back into use?
I'm not so sure. Horton with a natural EPT (and thus keeping his astromech slot) would be great, Horton in a game with decent ordnance would be great.
Can you imagine Horton with PTL + R2? I think I'd see him darned near every game. And there would probably be a lot more torpedoes being fired off...
Im also going with Mr Salm. He is going to be amazing with the upcoming title and stressbot though. He'll be double stressing you while he's not caring about not getting actions himself because he can modify both attacks anyway! HA!
Only at Range 2.
Nightbeast and Turr are pretty close for the imperials. One gets overlooked for Backstabber and one for Soontir...pretty **** good company.
For the 1st year or so I played My imperial lists were pretty much 69pts+ Backstabber AND Nightbeast.
Dark Curse.
I know I really wish I could make Colonel Jendon work... and the ST-321 title... and Weapons Engineer...
Tarn mison.
I know I really wish I could make Colonel Jendon work... and the ST-321 title... and Weapons Engineer...
Why you can't make him work?
Is his ability too short-ranged or is this combo too expensive? Or even both?
I don't think Dark curse is overlooked at all, he was even in the 2013 worlds finals!
Same with Tarn Mison, in my area he gets used pretty often. However while he is a great use of 25 points with a R7, I've found he can also be very unreliable. He either gets killed like a rookie at the first or second exchange or he lives untill the end of the game and brings down a firespray by himself.

I think it's mostly the range restriction, the Shuttle has a hard time keeping up with the ships that would benefit the most. If only his ability worked at Range 1-2 it would be great support ship.

True, thats exactly what I think.
The cost of the title is hard to evaluate but because its a unique title it should be more like 1 point.
Before Vessery came out, Jendon was the only pilot that would benefit from it anyway.
So for my taste Jendon's ability should be range 1-2 and the title should be 1 point:
Jendon 26 + title 1 + Weapon Engineer 3 = 30 points, leaving 70 points for ships to support
or
Jendon 26 + title 1
3 x Saber + PTL
= 99 points
This would be the way to go.

He might see some more play when the Advanceds get fixed.
Part of the problem I think is the cost if you pay that much you want more than a support ship you need something that can do some damage.
Bombers might work for him, maybe 2 Generics+Jonus with ordnance but I have yet to use more than one bomber myself
Which pilot would you say is the most wrongfully unloved?
Etahn Abaht. I mean he gets some love, but I see FAR more people using Corran Horn. In my opinion Etahn is SO much better, especially for squads with lots of ships.
He definitely gets better in Epic.
My pick would be Hobbie. This guy always been great when I used him, especially with R3-A2 and paired with Dutch.
Movement phase:
Option A:
-Hobbie move and take a focus action at PS 5.
-Dutch move at PS 6 and give Hobbie a TL.
Option B:
-Hobbie do a k-turn and get stress.
-Dutch move and give you a TL to clear your stress.
Attack phase:
-Dutch attack with turret to ionize target at PS 6.
-Hobbie attack at PS 5 and use droid to give stress.
-Hobbie use TL to clear stress.
Rince and repeat.
