Just having no luck finding one, and was a bit too late to help my LGS get involved!
Fellowship event in Virginia/MD/NC area?
I tried to get one for NC. My local store owner put in the application on the cut off date, but it said they had stopped taking them several hours before the page said the deadline was. He emailed them about it, but never heard back.
I'm unware of anyone else planning one in NC or VA at the moment unfortunately.
Bummer man! Yeah I've e-mailed them several times about different things over the last year or so and not once have I gotten a response.
WWPDSteve, I live in Northern Virginia, Fairfax area. Where are you? I am looking for someone to possibly play with. Let me know whenever you can. Thanks.
I just moved to Alexandria and would like to find some more LOTR LCG players too.
I'm down in Richmond. Not too far- there's a good game shop in Fredericksburg which is about halfway!
Anyone know of absolutely any fellowship events on the East Coast? Has a list been released?
I have not seen anything on the east coast, sorry. If I can ever make it to Fredericksburg, I will let you know.
I'm also looking for an event on the East Coast somewhere. I spaced talking to my store about it as well, which is too bad as its a great store to host events and has hosted regionals before. I will not miss it next time.
Hi Folks,
There's a Facebook page for DC/NoVA players that might interest some of you. You can find it on Facebook by searching for " DC/NoVA Lord of the Rings LCG Players". It's a closed group.
I put in an application through Labyrinth Games for the 2014 Fellowship event. I have yet to find out if it's been accepted. If you're interested in attending, let me know and I'll see if we can get more kits.
Also, a bunch of players will be meeting up at Huzzah Hobbies in Ashburn, VA *tomorrow* night (September 2nd) to play and distribute the contents of the new game night kit. We'll be meeting from 6:30 PM until 10 PM.
Stephen
Thanks for the info, AstroSnail. I went to FB and applied for the group.
I also applied for the group! I can't make tonight though, sadly. Thanks for the invite!
Many thanks to AstroSnail for setting up the inaugural LOTR:LCG card game at Huzzah Hobbies in Sterling, VA tonight. I was fortunate to attend and thoroughly enjoyed my evening. I believe we had twelve players turn out for tonight's gaming session.
My group of four players played The 7th Level (2nd Khazad-Dum scenario) on Normal mode. Despite an excellent early start, we eventually succumbed to a horde of goblins in the depths of Moria. While I'd played this scenario several times, I'd never played any four player LOTR:LCG, so it was great to play with so many other players (I typically play solo or with one other friend). One of our players had to leave at this point, so AstroSnail teamed up with us to play The Three Trials. My copy of the scenario arrived just last week and I had not yet played it, so I had fun playing a new scenario. We just made it to the final stage of the quest as the store closed. Success seemed at hand, but we wiill never know for sure.
Looking forward to future LOTR:LCG events with the group. Fingers crossed that the planned event at Labyrinth Games goes through.
Edited by RobOzMy local shop finally heard back from FFG and it does appear as if the Fellowship event in Salisbury, NC is a go if anyone is interested.
Labyrinth Games was also selected for the Fellowship Event!

I like to play in Alexandria, VA
I'm in Lynchburg, VA, and have difficulty finding places to play both LOTR LCG and X-Wing. The closest places I've heard of events happening is Richmond or even DC metro area.
Does anyone know if any stores in VA will be applying for a Fellowship 2015 event? I'd love to attend, even if I have to travel to DC or NC for it. Thanks!
The DC LotR meta's Facebook group's name is now " Capital Area Lord of the Rings LCG Players"
Labyrinth Games will be hosting the 2015 Fellowship event. The cost is $20, and they will have support for 16 players. Register to save your spot!

To the Lynchburg player - https://www.facebook.com/events/470081423173345/ There's a store in Richmond called Dragons Den Gaming that's running it.
Thanks Mikallo. I was able to get in touch with the store soon after I posted and found out they were hosting, and I was just able to register over the phone for the event today. I've been to that store before for X-Wing and had a good time, so it should be a good place to play!
Games and Stuff in MD is running it
