WHAT TO BRING

Up to 40-point Imperial or Rebel squad (no unique cards!)

Complete damage deck, dice, tokens and templates


TO REGISTER (ONLY 12 SPOTS AVAILABLE - REGISTRATION REQUIRED)

FORMAT & SPECIAL RULES

3 to 6 players may participate in a race. (There may be two races running simultaneously, depending on turnout.)


Each player must choose a faction (Imperial or Rebel) and may spend up to 40 squad points to purchase any ships in that faction, outfitting them with modifications, titles and other upgrades. NOTE: UNIQUE PILOTS AND UPGRADES ARE NOT PERMITTED.


Each ship without an elite talent slot may purchase 1 elite tale slot at a cost of 2 squad points.


If a player chooses to field 2 or more ships, these are considered TEAMMATES. During the race, factions are ignore. Only teammates are "friendly" to one another, while all other ships are "enemies".


Submit your squad list by email no later than the evening before the event.


During the race, ships will be required to pass to the outside of (or even THROUGH) certain asteroids which count as "corners" of the course. It is entirely legal to field ships with the sole intention of interfering with or attacking competitors, ignoring the designated route. These may even attempt to complete the course and vie for the win after other ships are eliminated.


WEAPONS DISABLED: All ship weapons (including all cannon, turrets, missiles, torpedoes, bombs, etc.) are disabled at the start of the race. At the start of the fourth round of play, all weapons restrictors are automatically released and weapons fire may occur from normal from then on.

This event is about a week away, so I'm bumping it. This event is going to be a lot of fun, and the race winners (we might run two races at the same time) will get a nice prize from Applied Perspective. Show up early and get a dogfight in, stay late and get another dogfight in. Hope to see some of you there!

Hey Dave,

This sounds like a whole lot of fun! I'm looking forward to hearing about how it goes next weekend. Good luck to all those daring pilots who enter!

I was trying to find ways to bring some variety between leagues at my small shop and I think I'll have to throw in a race of my own next time. Thanks for the inspiration!
