It looks like a lot of people enjoy the Great Debates and a lot of people hate them. What if we petitioned the webmasters to create a subforum for great debates, along with Fan Creations, Reference Materials, etc.? The people who like the debates could still participate in them. The people who don't like the debates would be rid of a lot of the spam that clutters up the main page. What do you think?

I'm not sure a sub-forum is necessary. The subject matter is relevant enough to the game to be on the main pages. I just happen to think that fewer debates would be better, so that you can make them only periodic, but with a good subject.
Kroen, your first few debates were truly great. But we're in the forties now and I can't recall any notable ones past the first few regarding fundamental player gear.
Yeah, no sub-forum, please. I think the Great Debates are pretty well played out at this point, and soon to be replaced by a floor of Innsmouth posts anyway....
I didn't mind the Debates but just the amount and 90% of the topics.

Why are you so obsessed with being the only one who can make great debates threads? So we have to wait for you to come up with an idea for a debate thread? I promise you that I think of an excellent discussion point I will post a great debate thread.

This has definitely gotten out of hand. When I didn't visit the forum for a couple of days I was looking at four pages with new threads. More than half of them had been started by kroen. I already stopped looking into the 'custom creations' subforum. It's only a matter of time till I stop visiting at all if something doesn't change.

Blah... I ignore most of the stuff there, but I do check the investigators, heralds, monsters, and ancient ones sections.
