My play group told me that they changed clearing how clearing stress works. They said they changed it to even after you clear stress with a green maneuver you still don't get an action. Is there any truth to this? I've looked everywhere and found none of it.

Did they also try to sell you a bridge?

Yeah, that's definitely a 'citation needed' situation. No, they didn't change stress clearing to that, unless they have some double-secret faq none of us can use.

That would make it 2 turns between red maneuvers and actions, and frankly, red maneuvers arent awesome enough to warrant it lest the game soon change fundamentally.

Unless they cite the source of the info, the rules show:

Activation Phase

1. Reveal Dial

2. Set Template

3. Execute Maneuver

4. Check stress (add or remove stress here)

5. Clean up

6. Perform Action

If he had stress at the beginning of the phase, and executed a green maneuver in step 3, step 4 removes the stress so he is relaxed and ready to take an action.
