Just wondering, as I don't currently have a Corvette, but what is the newest tough nut to crack?
I've heard a lot lately about pairing Chewie with 3PO, but I must have missed the list, and how people are flying it..
Anyone have suggestions? (I'll be picking up a Corvette soon, but until then, I can proxy a 3PO card)
Chicago Regionals had more then 5 people running Han with C3po, Pred, Engine upgrade, falcon title, and Luke. flew it with 3 Z's. 2 made the top 8.
The guts of the YT defensive build is C3PO and falcon title. Evade for the 1, always choose '0' with C3PO and you're guaranteed 2 evades which really make the already impressive YT's shields and hull last even longer.
Some folks run with Chewie for the crit-teflon and add R2-D2 for repairs.

This build, but I think it's potentially worth changing luke to gunner, and playing tarn mison + r7 in place of 2 zs, and having 99 so you can control the engine boosting war against another han. There was some success with that at the GA regional.

the evade token guarantees one. Choosing zero evades with C-3PO with your 1 agility dice roll means you either roll an evade (that's the 2) or you roll a blank or focus which means you rolled zero evades and thus get a free evade (that's also the 2). So either way, 2 evades.
I ran Chewie, falcon, engine upgrade, predator, luke, 3po + 3 tala z's on saturday. The last time i had played there in may, i got my ass kicked by a lot of tie fighters and thought this was going to work well for that with predator but i ended up facing off against one guy with two bounty hunters and a omicron shuttle with vader (i got the shuttle and almost got one of the BH but he got everything else) and the second squad was luke + r2d2, etan with some stuff(sorry :T) and ten nub with flight control. I got luke but he managed to get my falcon in the last round before time which was worth a heck of a lot more than luke. I didn't do a very good job of blocking with my z's on that one and rolled terribly so it took way too long to catch luke.
I liked it but a lot of other guys there were flying named rebel pilots and ewings or all large ships so dont know if that's a good squad to keep running or not. I know i could definitely have flown way better. I've never fought against BH, let alone two. had a hard time keeping my talas in a position to contribute and its hella hard to punch through an ewing with vanilla z's when they are getting lit up by high PS pilots
