I know this game would never happen. It would directly compete with Warhammer tabletop gaming and BattleLore second edition.

That being said...I really wish they did a Warhammer spin off of Second Edition BattleLore! Imagine how well the theme would match the BattleLore rules! First edition had spin-offs (Battles of Westeros I am looking at you!). Why can't Second edition?

I think the license for miniature games set in the Warhammer universe still belongs to GW, so, I don't really see this coming. But hey, dreaming never hurts, I guess

Yes, GW would never allow it. And, I believe, it would directly contravene the licence agreement (regarding miniatures as the main component).

However, nothing stopping you from modding it yourself...

That would be the biggest way for them to get me to NOT buy the game, to be honest. I'm glad they kept it with a more generic fantasy theme (even if Terrinoth has its own flavor) than being drained of it's fun via Warhammer.
