I truly enjoy WoW's WWI game and generally like aerial games. How does WoW: DoWWII stack up to its WWI counterpart? Similarities? Differences?
Thanks in advance!

Though the two games cannot be combined due to a few of the differences, they basically use the same system. DoW could be likened to WoW version 1.5. The basic mechanics of the game are essentially the same, but with small but important differences.
The WWI version involves planning by turn, three moves ahead.
The WWII version allows for more speed variation and has a slightly more "slick" means of movement planning with a "rotating" stock of planed moves, where the next move in the chain is simply added to the one already in the que. It's a bit more fluid.
Both are great games, so you really can't go wrong choosing one or the other!
personally i picked up DoW because im more interested in WWII than WWI
i really havent gotten a chance to play yet but it looks very fun
I have not played the WWI version as I dont have munch interest in that era but the WWII one is a surefire hit in our household. I recently taught it to my parents and they agreed its their fave game to play with my fiancee and I. We reguarly do all out scrap fights (no teams, free for all) so with 4 people its a great fun to have 4 different minds working. If your interested in WWII definintely pick it up, I cant wait for the expansion!
It can be a little more difficult to control your plane at first in DOW. It isn't uncommon for new players to fly off the table a couple of times.
