In the narrow sense, yes: Autothrusters don't work against Autoblaster + Outrider.

On the other hand, try getting Fel + Push the Limit at Range 1 if he really doesn't want to be there...

I have actually had a lot of success with Autoblaster Dash, outrider title, VI, and Navigator. It takes some getting use to, for sure, but it works well against most of the popular (and soon to be popular once wave 6 is out) builds.
