I keep waffling between:

Advanced Sensors and Engine Upgrade.

Fire Control System (sometimes with Heavy Laser Cannon)

I speculated that bigger guns do not matter if you are facing the wrong way. That said 3AD in exchange for two actions and 4AD (a pair of academy pilots)...cannot decide.

Been running plain cows with FCS only....now want to mix it up.

Looking at Fett + 2 Cows or Defender(Brath)+ 2 Cows for my current list. Giving Vader/Fett/Cow a rest for a while.

As a rebel I can say I really hate EU + FCS and EU+AS about equally. Even a base omicron shuttle with FCS is very annoying because of the high HP and low cost. I want to ignore it and focus on the more expensive ships, but with 3 attack dice and target locks it usually ends badly.

Engine upgrade at a minimum. FCS is a cheap upgrade and 120% worth it.

Gunner could/should be the next upgrade.

Or a bare shuttle with only Vader for wrecking things ASAP.

As a matter of fact I intend to run 2 shuttles my next tournament. Plus something PS9.

(still having doubts over Soontir or Whisper)

If Vessery is also being used, I like ST 321 and Weapons Engineer! Rebel captive is always annoying to an opponent as well!

For my next tournament I shall be running 2 stressy cow shuttles and fel with ptl!

Stressy cow=ogp, adv sensors, gunner, tactician, engine upgrade.

At a minimum, I would run a shuttle with darth vader and nothing else.

Adv sensors or fcs plus engine upgrade is a good middle ground, though gunner is still needed in my opinion, which becomes the buzzsaw.

After using advanced sensors on my shuttle, I love it, they become suprisingly agile, being able to boost before hand, or being able to focus/target lock and then bump.

Well first I grill it into a burger, then add two buns and a slice of cheese.

Thanks for the suggestions...though why Gunner? I have not tried yet but will do so next time...I was just wondering isn't focus plus TL reroll (with FCS) enough? How often does Gunner kick in versus say Rebel Captive instead?

Never put Vader on a Celestial Manatee that has upgrades on it.. better to drop an Engine Upgrade on it and get the Buzzsaw effect.

I am big fan of a very basic mobility cow: OGP Adv Sens and Engine Upgrade. No flash, still under 30 points and gets the job done. In epic I will run two to great success, and if I have the room they will get ion cannons to stick it to those large ships...

It depends on what I want to run as a squad:

Not stating that AS is bad but I feel that FCS is equally good.
