Since I still don't have a lot of games under my belt, I am wondering exactly how the RecSpec ability is supposed to play out mechanically. When you do a Focus action, do you discard the Focus token, then take another one after the action resolves? I tried running Kyle in a game, and it seemed awkward, as the others with whom I was gaming were also newbies. Thanks in advance.

I think my misunderstanding was the action vs. spending the token, i.e. firing the blaster turret. Spot the dense guy.
