It seems to link to the old PDFs from April still. Maybe it's to let us know to check for updates on August 1st?

I wonder what the check to large base barrel rolls is....

Seems like they haven't posted any of the new files (FAQ, Tourny, or Epic Tourny). Seems like they should have posted those before they posted this article...:-)

I think you're misreading something. Obstructed means plus 1 defense dice. Nothing changes that.

True, it seems that it's a hint that changes are coming and be ready...

It wouldn't be an FFG X-wing article without a mistake that had to be cleaned up after the fact! I'm sure they just erroneously uploaded to old ones or just left the old ones up while changing the titles.

It would have been nice if they had said what the barrel roll change would be.

Huge ships get a nice boost, that should help the CR-90 in epic and speed up the first few rounds!

I think you're misreading something. Obstructed means plus 1 defense dice. Nothing changes that.

Yeah...what? Nowhere in any FAQ does it mention an asteroid shielding you.

Also it took me a second to realize in the upper right corner of each of the rules it tells you the version and date. Nothing new since April on any of them.

Yes, the 2.0.1 version, April 15th files are still linked up.

Watch out for a version beyond that. I bet they'll be up sooner rather than later.

Obviously they uploaded the wrong files to the page. Still links to the April FAQ. I'm sure they'll fix soon.

I"m predicting that it allows displacement by a vertical 2 straight template. No Forward or back, much smaller adjustment.

There needs to be a love/hate button for peoples posts.

Pure conjecture, but I would imagine the Barrel Roll change simply reads something like:

"When performing the Barrel Roll action with a large ship, the movement template must start & end at a single place on the base."

If such is the case, it's a huuuuuuuuuge nerf and I'll be pretty sad if the silly Outrider title costs the Firespray and Falcon elite pilots the effective use of Expert Handling.

I also know what the barrel roll change is. Its a significant nerf, but then again, the barrel roll on large ships was broken from the start.

Probably have to use the "1" movement template on it's side, instead of long-wise.

I'm glad they decided to make the change before selling me a YT-2400.

My guess is that the barrel roll for large ships will now use the 2 straight template instead of the 1 straight template, to better reflect the size of the ship doing the maneuver.
