CH (Custom Humanoid)-1 question

By Thunk205, in Star Wars: Edge of the Empire RPG

Hello,

I apologize if this has been mentioned in the past, but one of my new players brought this up to me when giving he the pregens as an option to play with.

the character CH (Custom Humanoid)-1's stats seem way too high for what he could have possible started with. To create a droid with these stats would cost 220xp thats 45xp more xp than a droid gets. Is this an error in the character of am I doing something wrong?

Thank you

Believe all the pre-gens have more points than they should.

Yeah, the pre-gens for the starter games have additional xp and gear to help them function as demos for the different mechanics, functions, and talents.

For the "Shadow of a Black Sun" adventure, none of the PCs are legal builds in terms of character creation. More than likely, they were tossed together for the module with an eye towards being fun/interesting characters to play.

okay, thanks for the response. I'm glad I wasn't missing anything.

Yeah, for one-shots like convention games, there is a liberal amount of picking and choosing, as other have said, for the reasons stated. The characters sheets themselves are very stripped-down and streamlined, as well.

For the beginner games, however, I believe they stuck pretty close to the character creation rules—at least, that was the stated intent.

I think the purpose was to show off what the certain classes are capable of. For a demonstration its always nice to have a little bit more Badaboom for the customers/players.

Does anyone has the template sheet for these characters?

I'd love to translate them and use them for a Star Wars initiation back in Paris.
