I would add some blue wash to the shuttles engines. It will make the blue explode. Liking the A wing too man, keep up the good work!
Tried a Custom Squadron Paint Job
Others are good but that Awing and that shuttle are NICE!
The shuttle takes the cake. It feels Imperial.

thanks, maybe it is an imperial guard shuttle.
Personal advice. Use matte- not gloss, paints.
I did a flying tiger paint on my b as well. but not over the area you did. I like the idea, but like some have said personal taste on the blue, and I like blue. BUt hey, if you like it then more power to you!
i'd like to see yours, i bet it is sweet. that is fine, like i said before i liked how the clear blue shines painted over the white. it really distinguishes my ships on the table.

thanks for the advice, i will try it on one. personally i like the gloss, makes it look fresh off the assembly line.
Testors Dull coat Is An Amazing Clear coat To Give It A Real Life feel. Use a medium blue or just use games workshop blue wash.

If it's a larger model, yes, yes it does. But if it's a model around an inch in size, you want to use less shape-highlighting-detail-intensive-paint.
You could make a miniature look 10x more detailed than it is, entirely with strategic use of paint.
