Thanks for the pointer! Do they have monthly tournaments? I'd realistically only be able to go once a month. MAYBE twice, but that would be once to Austin, and once to Dallas, unless there were some big events.

Thanks for the reply! I saw they have monthly tournaments, which is exactly what I'm looking for! Them and Whose Turn Is It. Do you know what attendance is like at these tournaments? I'd love to play with as many people as possible.

PM Hida77 for details at Madness. I've only played their a few times visiting from Oklahoma, but I wish I had lived closer. I know they do weekly league nights and they just held a Regional.

Battlefield games in Killeen has x wing open play every thursday from 6-10. Great store too, the owner Will is awesome. I travel from Temple to go play. They were talking about running a tournaments in a few weeks.

That's perfect! Closer than Dallas or Austin for sure. I'd do my best to make it to tournaments and a casual play night every once in a while. Thanks for the tip! And I'll be sure to do that.

I wish we had more regular players and have an X-wing night at The Game Closet in Waco. I have played in a tournament last year there, but it doesn't seem to have a regular group playing.

There is a South Austin X-Wing Squadron Facebook page where we players in South Austin discuss our plans, tournaments, leagues, and events. We are mostly based out of Mage's Sanctum, however, there are a few players that also play in the north Austin area. Ft. Worth X-wing Miniature Gamers is a FB page where we coordinate our league, tournaments, or just want to meet at a gaming store to get some games in. Y2Komics in Ft. Worth has X-wing on Thursday night and our league starts this Saturday.
